What breaks most often in Polish documents
A font without Polish coverage
If the chosen typeface lacks ł or ę on the other machine, the substitute changes the width of every line that contains them. Titles wrap and tables shift by a column.
Page setup
A4 is standard here and Letter is standard elsewhere. A document built for A4 and printed on Letter loses the bottom of the page, and nobody notices until it is on paper.
The program version
A newer feature opened in an older version is rendered approximately or not at all. A PDF has no versions in that sense.
What a PDF settles
The layout is decided once, on your side, where you can see it. After that the page carries its own arrangement and nothing is rebuilt on arrival.
